The ideal candidate will be proficient in culinary arts in a fine dining restaurant. He/she will prepare wholesome, safe foods of a consistently high quality, to prepare them to menu specifications and chef's requests.
-Fine dining culinary experience; prior experience as a line cook in an upscale restaurant or hotel operation strongly favored -High School diploma or equivalent is required; culinary degree is preferred.
-Must possess demonstrated knowledge of various foods and cooking techniques.
-Must be able to physically meet the demands of the position such as: standing/walking for extended periods on shift, lifting/carrying heavy or bulky items weighing in excess of 25+ lbs. -Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
-Ability to work a flexible schedule that will include early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays.
-Good communication skills with fluency in English.
