Responsible for acquiring data from a variety of corporate information systems for the purpose of review, assessment and analysis of business processes related to Club Services. Focus is on the effective use of resources, both people and technology in the execution of Bluegreen values and objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Gather, review and analyze data, and generate reports on a routine basis and/or as needed by customer requirements
* Support ad hoc data requests within the existing governance and security policies and best practices
* Apply data mining, quantitative analysis and statistics to understand how our owners interact with our business and how our business impacts our owners
* Develop key documentation, user guides and other necessary training materials related to the data environment
* Manage and execute projects associated with data mining, manipulation, synthesis, and modeling and problem solving
* Assist departmental leadership in identifying and containing risks related to information management, and fostering a compliance culture in regards to information governance
* Work as a team player in delivering quality data to clients
* Serve as the SME to the full suite of Bluegreen’s data tools and resources
* Ability to communicate insights and recommendations to senior/executive management in a clear, precise and actionable manner
Requirements * Bachelor degree in Business, Math, or Hospitality Management, or equivalent work experience
* Three+ years experience in data collection, querying and reporting, or 18 months vacation ownership industry
* Knowledge and understanding of relational database technologies, such as AS400, Oracle, SQL, or MS Access.
* High proficiency level with MS Access and MS Excel
* Knowledge of various querying languages, Visual Basic and SalesForce a plus
* Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills
* Effective communication, verbally and in writing, with management and peers
* Must be well-organized
* Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
* Adaptability essential; must be flexible to change course rapidly in response to business demands
