Food & Beverage Supervisor

It is the mission and intent of this position that the incumbent will help in the overall day to day operation, and long term outlook of the restaurant. The Food & Beverage Supervisor will help create a pleasant dining environment and experience for guests.
It is the mission and intent of this position that the incumbent will help in the overall day to day the whole Food & Beverage Operations (In Room Dining, Restaurant, Lounge and Banquets). The Food & Beverage Supervisor will help create a pleasant dining environment and experience for guests.
The Food & Beverage Supervisor reports directly to the Food & Beverage Outlets Manager and supervises the restaurant staff as well as other Food & Beverage outlets staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide excellent service at all times to all of our guests
Assist guest courteously and efficiently
Managing day to day operations
Supervise the maintenance and cleanliness of the restaurant at all times
Excellent knowledge of food and beverage, including being able to service and sell the product
To manage proper staffing level
To manage proper supplies level
Assist manager with scheduling
Assist manager with colleagues training and development
Assist manager with monthly departmental meeting
Assist manager with conducting of daily communication meeting with staff prior to shift
To visit all of our guest tables during or after their visit, to ensure satisfaction
To manage, coach, and counsel colleagues, including disciplinary procedures.
Uphold and enforce all hotel policies and procedures as stated in hotel colleague handbook
Attend weekly and monthly Food & Beverage meeting
Communicate all group information/changes to existing information to appropriate hotel colleagues in an accurate and timely manner
Lead daily departmental meeting
Has strong sense of responsibility for financial goals set forth by the company
Be responsible for guest and colleague satisfaction scores
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position, preferable in luxury hotel/restaurant environment
Bachelor's degree in hospitality or other related field
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
Highly self motivated and able to motivate others
Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner
Have an in-depth knowledge of food and its preparation
Be able to relate to all levels of guest and management
Have the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
Must have excellent attention to details, and extensive service knowledge
